What to expect

I will arrange to meet you in a place that feels right for you. I will listen with compassion, and gently gather stories, memories, and precious moments that made your loved one the person they were.

Whether you wish for something traditional, spiritual, religious, simple or unique, I will create a ceremony shaped around your wishes. The ceremony will be a meaningful farewell that will honour your loved one’s life while acknowledging your loss and the love that still remains.

My ceremonies are warm, authentic and personal. I will provide presence and guidance for you and your family in the days leading up to, and on the day of the funeral.

What is included in the package:

1. An in person meeting with the family to gather memories, stories and ascertain their wishes.
2. Advice on the structure of the ceremony and elements that might be appropriate to include such as readings or symbolic acts.
3. Writing the ceremony.
4. A first draft will be sent for approval to the appointed family member and any required amendments made.
5. Communication and coordination with the funeral director and funeral staff.
6. Ongoing telephone or email support for the family during the planning period.
7. Delivery of the funeral ceremony on the day.
8. A calm, professional and compassionate presence throughout.
9. All travel expenses are also included.
